Switch easily between work and play at the touch of a button with the EW2790U 27″ 4K HDR Monitor from BenQ. With a built-in hot key, you can quickly change presets to optimize the viewing settings of this 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 resolution display for productivity, watching videos, playing games, and more.
The EW2790U also delivers rich visuals with HDR and AI-enhanced contrast. A built-in stereo speaker system and six audio presets provide immersive sound while you game, listen to music, and watch movies. In addition to having three HDMI inputs, you can transfer video, data, and up to 65W of power over a single USB-C cable with compatible laptops.
AI Contrast
BenQ’s AI Contrast technology delivers lifelike details by automatically adjusting the contrast according to the displayed content without impacting other areas of an image.
Rich Color
Backed by a 27″ IPS panel, the EW2790U provides cinematic visuals with 1.07 billion colors, covering 95% of the DCI-P3 gamut. VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified high-dynamic range, supporting a 1000:1 static contrast ratio and 400 nits peak brightness, enhances visuals with realistically bright highlights and deep shadows.
Integrated Speakers
A built-in 5W stereo speaker system provides studio quality sound while six audio modes optimize their tuning for different types of media, including music, movies, and games. Plugging a pair of headphones into the 3.5mm jack allows you to listen in private.
USB Hub
The three-port USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 hub allows you to connect up to 5 Gb/s flash drives and other peripherals to your system through the monitor.
Get it Done with Display Pilot 2
The free to download Display Pilot 2 software lets you adjust display settings such as brightness and volume using your mouse and keyboard. It may also be programmed to learn your habits to seamlessly adapt the display for different scenarios according to a schedule. The Pomodoro features help to boost focus and efficiency by reminding you to take breaks. There is also an audio equalizer that lets you customize your audio experience.
Ergonomics
Rotate the screen 90° to view content in portrait mode. You can also optimize your view by adjusting the height, tilt, and swivel. With 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, you can clearly see the display from almost any position. With the 100 x 100mm VESA mounting pattern, you can place the display on swivel arm or multi-monitor stand.
BenQ Eye-Care Technology
The Low Blue Light panel is designed to reduce eyestrain during extended viewing periods. Additionally, Brightness Intelligence Gen2 technology dynamically adjusts screen brightness and color temperature based on ambient lighting.
